Man shot, killed in Chicago's Chatham neighborhood

A 24-year-old man was shot and killed outside a store this morning in the South Side's Chathamneighborhood, police said. Officers responded about 10 a.m. to a call of a person shot near 79th Street and St. Lawrence Avenue, said Chicago Police Officer John Mirabelli. Police found the man there, shot and unresponsive. The victim has not yet been identified. The man was identified as Bobby Shine, 24, according to a spokesman for the Cook County medical examiner's office. The spokesman did not have a home address for the the victim. Calumet Area detectives are investigating.
