I heard that was just amazing. I was talking to an officer about it today when I went to DC.
It was hard to walk along both walls and see so many names. Even though I only knew one officer on the wall, every pannel seemed to become harder to pass.
RIP.

I have and will continue to shed my tears for all the names on the "BLUE WALL" & and the "BLACK WALL". Each and every name represents a Son, Daughter, Mother, Father, all are deserved of the title "HERO". May they all rest in peace in the arms of The Lord.

I was there for the dedication of the monument 21 years ago. Since then I have unfortunately had two names of friends added to the wall. I will never forget them and god bless their families and those of all the officers that have fallen. So many since I started this job 26 years ago. Be careful guys and gals.

I hope President Obama went to this event since he wants to cut the benefits to the families of these fallen men & women.
I was hoping to making to D. C. this year for this event but did not. I hope I can make the trip next year. We will never forget our fallen brothers/sisters. You will remain in our hearts. God bless!!

I was hoping to make it to Washington D.C. this week to experience this event first hand, but couldn't make it. God bless all the names on the wall, as well as their families and the brothers and sisters in uniform left behind. You all are true heroes.

POLICEWEEK....( 2009) The CANDLELIGHT VIGIL is One of If Not the Most Moving, Powerful Events in Honor of those Fallen Officers. Unfortunately due to a family Emergency I could not attend or work Policeweek this year. I would like to also Send a Huge THANK YOU to FOP- DC LODGE 1. The Board and the Lodge Members put on a Host yearly and anyone who has attended should know the Intense Planning and Time it takes. A Huge THANK YOU to N.L.E.O.M.F. for their work and assistance in Making POLICEWEEK Possible. Hope to See You at POLICEWEEK and BE SAFE & WATCH YOUR SIX!!!!!

God bless everyone that has lost a brother or sister in blue. The families will always feel the pain no matter how many years will go by!
P.S, i don't like the fact that the AG was invited, this guy does not care...heck he does not even believe in the death penalty...he is a clintonite left winger that has no business having our backs in my opinion
