Still can believe you're gone. I am so blessed to have know you in the time I had you for my friend. I had hope until the very last minute. You know me well. That how I am. I hope against hope. But if you have no hope what do you have? Nothing. God has you were he wants you to be. I'm comforted by the fact that you are not hurting anymore. What a strong man you were my friend. John, I really wish that we had been able to meet. I know that we could have shared a lot of stories about the "old days" over a few brews. You were always able to make any that wrote to or interacted with you smile at the things you would say. Rest in Peace John. Heaven is all the better having you there to keep the streets safe.
