John, I really wish that we had been able to meet. I know that we could have shared a lot of stories about the "old days" over a few brews. You were always able to make any that wrote to or interacted with you smile at the things you would say. Rest in Peace John. Heaven is all the better having you there to keep the streets safe. Oh my God John........this wasn't supposed to happen. I'm completely destroyed inside and it hurts, but I know the battle you fought. We talked every day and I know you're with God now and not suffering. So many of us here are crying now. You had so many friends that deeply cared for you. The last words I said was "Love You". Thank God I had that chance. To Nancy and the kids, I am so very sorry but John is not suffering anymore. My thoughts and prayers are with you all and the rest of the family.
