Good evening,Michael.Thanks for your informative message and continued friendship,it's very important to me.I don't follow pro sports a lot but have a few favorite teams.I like the Cowboys,Redskins and Eagles.More into collegiate football,especially the Nebraska Cornhuskers.Have a great week.

WOW, Mike. Not only are you talented with words, but you really get to the heart of the job with these words. I agree with your poem 100%...people don't see cops as regular men and women, all they see is the uniform. Thank you for your gift, my friend. Romans CH 13 it is when I put the kids to bed tonight. Thanks so very much for your friendship...I have a feeling we'll be soing a lot more "talking" in the future and that's fine by me. You are wise and insightful and you already have my respect, Sir.

A Poem I Dedicate To All My Brother and Sister Police Officers:
COPS
They’re out there on the streets working hard everyday
To protect and serve the public in their loyal kind of way
Taking all the risk is the job these men and women do
Everything they can to preserve life and property for me and you
Not just anyone can patrol the streets and wear a badge and gun
This job is very risky and requires making decisions not much fun
In the real world things can go wrong and get complicated and bad
Some cops get killed making arrest of criminals this is very sad
In the movies actors portray cops on the streets risking their life
The actors get as many takes as it takes to get the scene just right
But in the real world “COPS” get one take and if it goes wrong
They’re fatal statistics and must live with the decision that’s made
Sure they’re cops but human beings too; they are the men in blue
They place their very life on the line everyday for me and you
They’re out there patrolling the streets to protect us and keep us free
Fighting the drug dealer and terrorist cell in their daily plight
They’re men and women and carry out a service a constant fight
My friends what I’m telling all of you, they are cops like me and you
Accept they wear a badge and a gun and patrol day and night
Keeping criminal’s in line and protecting our human right
Never fail to respect the job they do, it’s all for me and you!
