  Just stopping by to wish you a great week ahead and the coming weekend is relaxing and stress free. I've been enjoying the nice weather here the last couple of days and working in the yard planting flowers. The gophers have been enjoying the nice weather too and have started visiting me regularly the last couple of days, so the war has begun.

  Please say a prayer of thanks and rememberance tomorrow for Army Pfc. Jeremy Faulkner. He died for you last week on the field of fire in Afghanistan. He was 19 years old. He is a native son of Griffin, GA., a small southern suburb of Atlanta. This is MY neighborhood, and his homecoming procession to the funeral home went right past my house. We lay him to rest tomorrow.

  Freedom isn't free! It comes at a staggeringly high price. Thank GOD for men and women like Jeremy who step up to the plate and are willing to pay that price. We owe a debt of gratitude that we will never, ever be able to repay. We are burdened to always be worthy of such sacrifices.
