About Me
I am a retired LEO, living in WA. I own a small consulting service, currently working as a subject matter expert to a Fortune 500 company that is involved with US government contracts. I have worked as a military policeman, city cop, Deputy US Marshal, Customs Patrol Officer and Special Agent for the Department of Defense, the US Department of Interior and the US Customs Service (now ICE). I retired in 2000 and spent the following three years serving as a DHS/CBP contractor in Ukraine and Moldova, working as a chief technical advisor for a State Department program to provide assistance (primarily training and equipment) to help countries improve their ability to detect and interdict weapons of mass destruction (WMD). I also served a temporary assignment of 2 months as a class coordinator at the International Law Enforcement Academy, and another temporary assignment of almost 7 months as a deputy ambassador in the international program to embargo shipments into and out of Serbia. During the 90s, I was on a number of training teams, again WMD stuff, that gave seminars to a wide variety of foreign government agencies, including countries in SE Asia, the Former Soviet Union and Saudi Arabia.
