About Me
During my 28 year career in Law Enforcement, I worked my way up from Deputy patroling the highways and enforcing Wisconsin laws to Jail Supervisor, Patrol Sergeant, and finally to Lieutenant. As a Lt, I rotated between 3 positions from 1992 until I retired in 2005. I spent time as the third shift shift commander, Assistant Jail administrator and the Sheriff's Administrative Lieutenant. As the Admin, LT., I over saw the change in communications from pencil and paper to a total CAD system for dispatching and records management and we tied in all the Law Enforcement agencies in the County to the same system. I also initiated many new programs within the Department such as the County's first K-9 units and the Departments first Motor units. Being in Wisconsin of course we used Harley's. :-) It was a great career and I miss it...
