About Me
I am the Director of the Institute for Public Safety (over Criminal Justice, the Basic Police Academies, Fire Science, etc.) for Central Ohio Technical College located East of Columbus in Newark, OH. I served as the program manager and professor for the Criminal Justice Institute over the police academy at Seminole Community College in Sanford, FL (just North of Orlando, FL). A former police chief, I write articles and provide media commentary on police topics and have been doing so since 1990. I have a wonderful wife and terrific seven-year-old son who believe in what I do and are appreciated for their support.
