    Sorry I have been absent from the site a lot recently...I'm training a new dispatcher. Not a lot of free time. It will probably be several more weeks before I'm around much. Just wanted to let everyone know I hadn't fallen off the face of the earth :)

    So lawenforcement runs in your family too... Yes my dad was a motorccycle cop too.
    I love Chiefland. What a georgeous town... We used to go camping at the state park right there all the time. I absolutely love it there....So peaceful, would wake up to the smell of coffee and see deer outside our campsite.

    Im good in my county.. Houston and Galveston are destroyed but we have lots of people deployed down there from our agency helping out and all of the country for that matter.. they are people here from everywhere!

    When we get the remnents of your storms up here the rain comes in really weird. It is really like a tropical mist. The rain is different comeing in from a hurricane then if it just developed over the midwest and fell. I love it when we get the rains from the storms down there. Probably doesn't make sense but there is a difference. I will see if I can find some pics from up here with the snows of last year and send them to you. I can handle the cold up here in winter but don't care much for the snow and especially don't care for the ice!!!
