I'm not a big runner anymore. I probably should be though... But first I'd wonder how long have you been running and jogging. Beyond that I think running is a lot like other exercises... you have to do it a lot of different ways to build true endurance and lung power. You should jog and do wind sprints. When you run (as opposed to jogging) try to keep a steady pace. Breathing is indeed important. Keep the inhale the same length as the exhale. In through the nose and out through the mouth is what I've always been taught. Keep at it. Never give up. God bless and be safe.
