About Me
My name is Lisa. I am 27, a single mother of two boys. I was born and raised in KY. I have a degree in Criminal Justice, and work for the Kenton County DCBS. I love the field I am in. I feel as though I am on the right track to getting where I want to be in life.

A SIMPLE STORY OF GREAT POLICEWORK

Recently, I have seen good policework at it's finest on a personal level. I had had a roomate briefly, who turned out being a major fraud and theif. Within a few weeks' time, she had taken and sold close to $3000 worth of items from my home, which included some jewelry. One piece in particular was a ring that my mother gave me before she died. It was very sentimental to me, and it hurt me more than anything that it was gone. I was sure I'd never see it again. Of course, I threw her out (without hurting her in the process) and proceeded to make a police report. Detective H was assigned to my case. This guy is awesome! He worked quickly and efficiently. Not only did he find out where she took all my things and got her formally charged, not only did he uncover all her lies, but he was also able to recover the ring from my mother!!! I was elated when he called to tell me he'd found it. It was the only thing I really wanted to get back out of all the things that were taken. So now she is charged with a felony, facing jailtime and answering for her wrongdoing, and I got back something near and dear to me. I give Detective H so much credit for being knowledgeable, dedicated, and sincere. It may not have been a big case or a sensational one, but to me, an average person, his work and success earns my respect and admiration. He is a great detective!

I joined this site initially to look for work in my field. Along the way, I have met and became friends with some very wonderful people. I have nothing but total respect for the LEO's who do the job they do and stay true to themselves and others.....on and off the job. I also like to read the articles about what's going on in other parts of the country. These are the only things for which I use this site. Everything else doesn't interest me.

Weeds, Californication
Favorite Music:
Anything, really. I take dance classes, so if it's something I can move to, it's all good. I don't really like hard-core rap or death metal (where it sounds like someone is puking into a mic and calling it music).
