Morning John,
I think you sound like a very level young man. This is refreshing to see in this day. Most young adults are good, we just meet the other ones and also read and the bad on the news. I wish the future leaders of this country would get better of who they are at the time. You keeping doing what you are doing and you should be fine. Lime always, take care and God Bless. Stay safe.

Hi John,
I must say Recondo99 gave you some very sound advis and I couldn't agree with him more. My Father in the Marines and he has his rank and pull in the Military. I am very proud of him and he has said that a lot to my brother and me. When I became a Leo, I was told no man will walk on you again, and always wear your uniform with pride. I didn't come by to tell you this but I saw Recondo99's comment and I wanted to add my two cents worth. I do hope you are having a super week and it is half over. May the rest of it be as good for you too. Take care and God Bless. Stay safe

When I was in Collage, being in ROTC was not popular among many other students. Many of them were hostile to us. We were told that we did not have to wear our uniforms to Military Science classes because of all the trouble on Campus. When I was informed of this I decided that no one was going to intimidate me out of wearing my uniform. So I walked around the Campus in full uniform. At first other cadets didn't wear their uniforms- after hearing that announcement. Then I showed up in class in uniform. Much to my pleasant suprise, gradually other cadets began to wear theirs. The Training Cadre was suprised and asked me if I heard the announcement. I told them yes, but they didn't say we couldn't wear the uniform. They just sort of shook their heads and gave me knowing grins. Some cynical cadets called me such names as "GI Joe", but most followed my example. The point is that Officer Training is to develop Leaders. If you want to hear Hooah more often, then start to use it among the Cadet Corps. Begin to be a Leader NOW ! Some will be mocking and denegrating, but the real Soldiers will begin to follow your example ! And you will further your Leadership skills and be looked upon as a Leader by both your peers as well as the Cadre. Hooah. LTC Nugent
