Cadet Sargeant, Sorry about not using your correct rank. In your picture, they looked like corporal stripes. When I was an ROTC Cadet doing my Officers Basic Traing at Fort Bragg, we would rotate leaderrship positions. One day you would be in the ranks, another day a squad leader, another day the company commander. It was excellant leadership training and it taught you to be firm and decisive. But it also taught you to be concerned about the welfare of your people. Very much the qualities of any good leader. Drive On ! HOOAH ! LTC Nugent
