    my step grandfather was an law enforcement officers in hazard, kentucky. our house at 120 east main[i was born there]. was sometimes the target of gunfire. once just as my great gran mother left a chair, a bullet from the street blew the chair to the cieling. my great gran mother lived another 21 years. i am still alive too. thanks to god my grand mother danced off a couple of guys looking for granpa tyler with a 32. those were fragile times for them who wore badges.
