About Me
I have three girls, 25,27, and 17. I am on my last and third husband. I married a southern country boy from Virginia and if I knew what I was missing all these years, I would of looked there years ago! I love to run, watch old movies, sew, and be with my family. My dogs are my loves! I have five and one is a pet therapy dog. He does visits at the hospital and to the children center where I now work. I joined LAPD in 1987 and retired (medical) in 2004 with a messed up back. The agony of working patrol my entire career and loved it! My brother, David, was my inspriration to joining the dept. He was shot and killed by a robbery suspect the day before my 18th birhtday and two days before I got married (1st time) in 1979. He was killed doing what he doing the most! I miss him. I miss patrol every day! I love it, training new boots on how to do a good job. I worked the AM shift always. It had the hardest working officers and was the busiest, making it the most fun. I don't miss the BS amongest the command staff. They all seem to be guys (or a few girls) who never did more then a minute on the street and would love to preach on how to do police work. I miss the guys and friends I left behind. But now I must move onto new adventures. I love, love, love old airplanes! Air shows are the best. I live near Edwards and they are always flying the incredible Stealth, military planes etc, over head. I get goose bumps! My dream would be to fly in one!

i love lucy, golden girls, , The Soprano's, CSI. I love the history channel and watching stuff on the old wars.

I can't think of a more honorable duty than to give your life for your country, community or for another human being.     The Final Inspection

    The warrior stood and faced God,
