20 years sworn service (25 years total service including non-sworn) I am a 3rd generation police officer; It's the family business - I lost count at around ten of us in the family. The 4th generation (my son) claims he wants to follow suit too, but I'd rather see him in law school and sitting the bench bashing a gavel on the bad guys' heads....LOL.
