About Me
Jeff Chapman is an Arizona native, born and raised in The Town of Gilbert. Throughout is life, Jeff has had two real passions; music performance, and serving his community. Jeff discovered his passion for music at an early age and began public performance at the age of eight. Jeff has played many roles in community theatre plays and musicals, has been a member of numerous choirs and singing groups, was a member of the Arizona All-State Jazz Choir and was a 2nd place winner of the 2007 National Association of Teachers of Singing competition. Jeff was an Eagle Scout and a high ranking member of the Gilbert Police Department’s police explorer program, before becoming a full time police officer in 1996. During his career as a police officer, Jeff served as a patrol officer, school resource officer, DARE instructor, general instructor, field training officer, and child crimes investigator. He further served as a founding member of the Quality Management Council (two terms), the Family Support Team, and was elected to the Arizona DARE Officer’s Association Board. In early 2002, Jeff took an early retirement from the Gilbert Police Department to focus on his growing family and pursue other interest. Jeff has recently started a new company, Chapman Investment Group, LLC. After several years away from law enforcement, Jeff is hoping to put the uniform back on. Jeff is currently in the pre-academy process with the Farmington, NM Police Department. He continues to serve his community through several volunteer activities and through serving in a leadership position within his church. Jeff also continues to be active in community theatre and musical groups.
