Hey there Michele.Good to hear from you again.You are always super busy,lady.Yep that price on a cord of wood is way out of line.Used to use a electric chain saw,which I liked pretty good That's what I did all my logging in Arkansas and here with.My wife used to do a lot of canning.Had a lot of fruit and berry trees in Arkansas.Good luck finding a job I know our economy is terrible.UI sure do miss tghe huge fireplace we had in our cabin in Arkansas.We have just the opposite weather you have had.Probably haven't had three inches of rain in the past four or five months..Leaves fell treal early this year and our lawn went brown early.This time last year we had so much rain had to live with mold.---Take care of yourself up there and try to trake a break.---Dave.

We had our first freeze here last night.I'm sure not looking forward to the up coming Winter weather.I'm going to enjoy these sunny days as long as they last.Stay safe!
