About Me
I started out in LE as a jailer, loss prevention officer and a warrant officer. All of my prior law enforcement experience was in Wichita Falls, TX. All I ever wanted to be (besides a pro soccer player) was a cop and in my life circumstances, it's a "damn miracle that I ever did something with my life." It's been rough to say the least but my grandpa was right when he made that statement. Life hadn't been dealt fairly....but his words drove me to press on.

My career was cut short when 9/11 happened and I decided that I needed to join the Army and conduct some business.....but they never sent me to the sandbox. I was bitter for awhile but I'm totally over it now. After 4 years of that nonsense, I got out and was an access control officer at Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, GA. Then I got a call to do what I did in the Army (biomedical equipment repair) and I moved to California for 10 months. As my luck would have it, life spun my head around once again and here I sit in Reno....

I'm so tired of moving.....but I intend to move to Ireland one day (or somewhere else where I can hear the song in my heart.)

I will not return to law enforcement due to my disability but it's always been a secret part of who I am. I still bleed blue. I will truly miss the brotherhood it provides.

I'm constantly told that I have a unique perspective on things and I'm never sure what they mean, I'm just telling what my eyes can see. I love to write and I write to vent and in my own little way, to enact vengeance on those who have played an uninvited role in my life because I'm not perfect and I have a strong desire to seek revenge. However, I have strict standards and a belief in law which keeps me at bay. Aren't they lucky....

My Scotch-Irish blood and a lineage of warriors is to blame, I think, for my temper and willingness to stand up for myself and those who can't stand up for themselves. Even as the smallest in my class throughout my school years, I was known for standing against the bullies. I just couldn't help myself. I'd like to see video of that! My fearlessness could've caused me so much pain :D

I am open to different opinions and different perspectives and believe that the complexity of human beings is why this planet is so full of passion.....both in its people and its own cycles. I love a good storm........and I've sure got my own.

Hobbies:
Shooting, Fishing, sports until my disability, I want to learn to oil paint, I love being outdoors, music is the breath of my soul and writing keeps me sane and protects several people I know from things I can't talk about >:]

Braveheart--300--The Departed--Blood Diamond--the Bourne trilogy--Lucky Number Sleven--and just about anything with lots of movement and ass-kickin good guys and a psychological twist

GHOST ADVENTURES ROCKS!!--A Haunting--The History Channel--Paranormal State--Reno 911 cracks me up--all those interior design shows

Soooo many different kinds.....mostly alternative--TOOL is the band that can take me to wherever I want to be. For those of you who don't know...Maynard has vineyards now in AZ and makes delicious wines!! www.caduceus.org/
