About Me
I started my LE career at home at the Meriwether County, Ga Sheriffs Department in 1987. It was a great start and I'll always be thankful to Sheriff Dan Branch for giving a young kid a chance! I joined the Marine Corps in 1988 and served actively until 1993 as a Military Police Officer Traffic Accident Investigator. I was a Sergeant when I got out. I farmed and trucked from 1993 when I got out of the Corps until 1999 when I decided to get back into L.E. I got my first L.E. job in Illinois at Illinois State University Police Department, but left in 2000 to go to the McLean County Sheriff's Department, and I am presently employed at the Sheriff's Department full time. I have worked at 4 other police departments here in McLean County part time since joining the Sheriff's Dept. These are Stanford, Danvers (I still work here), Heyworth and Hudson. In 2006 I completed my bachelors degree and joined the IL Army National Guard as a 2LT. It took me 6 months of 2007 and the first three months of 2008 to finish my officer schooling, but I made it and I am now a platoon leader. I am divorced with two great kids both boys. The oldest, Jake, graduated high school in May and is attending St. Ambrose University in Davenport, IA on an academic and football scholarship. My youngest, Justin, is a black belt in taekwondo, motorcross rider, and high school football player. He injured his knee on the motorcycle in May 2008 and underwent surgery in June. He missed football season this year, but he will be back in the saddle before you know it! I love them both more than life itself! I am in a committed relationship with Link member dpdhmfic and we have been living in sin for the last 6 years! She is a great gal, a wonderful person, an excellent cop, and the love of my life!

    An officer in a kilt would be pretty interesting to see. (other then the ceremonials). And I hear you about the full size vs. the impala's. I've got to ride and look at the new impala's and with a cage theres no room at all.
