Thanks for accepting my invite. Haven't got on here much, huh? Need any help? I hope that you find an opportunity to join our brotherhood. I know that you wish that you could. Just start applying and go through the steps. If you don't succeed the first time; try again. It took me 3 times (3 years) of applying and testing before I was accepted.
I had a friend in contruction like you that wanted to be a fireman. He told me of his wish; but, was scared to try. I told him; "What do you have to lose?" Just try. He tried the first year and didn't make it. He knew what he had to do the next go around and tried again the next year.......................he made it into Pike township FD. You couldn't have found a happier person that day. He still is there and we joke about what he would be doing in construction today instead of following his dream.
Don't lost the faith. If there's a will...........there's a way.
