About Me
i was born in smithtown new york out on long island. we moved here about 34 years ago my father was born here in morehead city and wanted to get close back to his home area. i ran a phillips 66 gas station for 12 years which was a substation for all our local police/shp/sheriff officers. i helped start our first explorer post which i was the chief of. i then was given the chance to become a communications officer with the apex pd in july of 1996. i said yes and have been very happy ever since. i work with a great group of fellow employees. our town has grown from 2500 when i first moved here to near 40,000 current. we are getting ready to build a new police station (finally). i enjoy hunting & fishing every chance i get. i do alot of it in phillipi, west virginia my second home & i have a place down at the beach in morehead city. i enjoy my 6 nieces and nephews they keep there uncle busy !! and i am a proud member of the apex/cary lions club for over 22 years. i am also a active member of the pleasant plains baptist church here in town.this past january 2009 i decided it was time to get back in shape. i had bariatric surgery and have lost 270lbs !!! 100 prior to surgery and 170 since. feeling great and know off my blood pressure meds. i hope to post some before/after pictures later this year.i thank our lord and savior for all he does and has given me through out my life. i pray for all my fellow brothers & sisters out there in law enforcement to be safe and keep the good lord by your side.
