About Me
My agency is located in central Florida across Tampa Bay from the city of Tampa. We police about 250,000 people and have a sworn strength of about 450. I have been involved in several critical incidents since 1989 when I had my first walking beat. This includes being a witness on several police shootings and shooting and killing one suspect myself. I have served as a Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer and I am currently assigned as a Detective in the Robbery/Homicide unit. I am also a member of the Tampa Bay Regional Critical Incident Team and have been awarded the Officer of the Year Award in 2002 by the FOP of Florida. Most importantly, I have been married my entire career to the love of my life who has helped me to bear the burdens and suffer the tribulations of this career without failing.
