ha ha I'm 25 so I'm definately old enough. The marines, navy and army are mad at me cause they wanted me to join pretty bad too.....I scored pretty high on the pre-test.... lol just makes more sense for me to stay in the states so my dogs, cats and horses continue to be taken care of. My problem is to get accepted to an academy in the area I am trying to move to. I live in MN and here you have to go to a college and get a 2yr degree.... I can't afford to quit my job and pay for school though... so I am hoping to find an academy. I guess I will keep looking and see... thanks so much for your help though... I greatly appreciate it! Have a happy Easter!

My pleasure. Any time you have a question feel free to ask. Just how old are you? I know in Texas you have to be 21 to be in law enforcement or at least 21 by the time you graduate from the academy.

Most departments now are wanting some college hours, so I would look around at your local agencies and see what they are wanting. Then I would find a police academy and look at it prerequisites and go from there.
