  Angela--I caught that coughing. Those pictures are priceless. I'm glad it was such a success. You really should have found some shine somewhere up there in the foothills. It would have added at least another $28000 from everyone drinking. That stuff make a person real loose. LOL Oh Yeah, about the Hooters thing, I actually had a Hot/spicy Chicken Cesar Salad and some fried Pickles. The weekend was real nice. No yard work. It rained most of the weekend, so that means this weekend will be a bear. Anway, have to run. I'm at work. Rest and have a great week. You've earned it.   I figured you would remember the show..coughcough. Just for you, I put up some pictures. And although I am sure you are going to have a blast...HOOTERS???? Yeah, yeah...I know...the wings. Lol. The show ended up a great success and we ended up with almost $28,000. Not to shabby for a bunch of idiots! The beer was appropriate since there wasn't any white lightning to be found. Hope your weekend went wonderful, although I know you are tired. TTYL.

  Angela--Of course I remember the Hee Haw show. It was one of my favorites. O.K., where are the photos of you as a Hee Haw blonde??? It sounds like you had a very busy holiday too. Oh, btw, the beer is so that you can continue to celebrate, Hee Haw style. They don't have any shine listed and Martini's just don't go with the attire. The event sound like it went over very well and of course the money raised should be put to good use. Anyway, this weekend we're supposed to have a lot of rain. Don't know if I'll get much yard work done, but I'm having lunch today with some folks I went through State Certification with. We're going to compare notes and injuries. I think I'll trump this time. I was just approved a VA pension based on all the old age illnesses and injuries I amassed during 31+ years in the service. None of them have that much. It should be a good time. We're meeting at (get this) the Original Hooters Restaurant in Clearwater, 2 blocks from my office. That should be a hoot, no pun intended. Anyway, have to get moving for now. We have an architect come out to talk about an addition to the family room.Have great weekend, Don't drink more than someone can carry you home and I'll TTYS.   Angela--Thanks for checking in. We had a great holiday, starting on Thursday Night at a ball game which ended in a fireworks display/tribute to the Armed Forces. Of course, the US SOCOM jump team made an appearance, right after the fly over. So, it was an impressive evening. The ocal team also won the game. Since I'm not normally allowed to indulge, I ate all the stadium food I could find. Actually that amounts to a Hot Dog, French Fries, Italian Ices (Red, White and Blue), Popcorn, and some Ice Cream. Oh Yeah there was some Beer too, but the lite kind. On Saturday, we had a BBQ at the house. I started cooking in the kitchen at around 9 in the morning and at about 2 in the afternoon, I moved out to the grill. As the food came off, we started eating, in between watching Independence Day and The Patriot. We didn't fininsh eating till about 10, so we ate a lot, but we had a great time. On Saturday and Sunday, I had to work off all that food, so it was yard work and ladscaping for 2 days. I don't know if I worked off all the food, but the yard looks wonderful. So Hee Haw Honey (what's that?) tell me what a charity show is, and how it went. I have no idea what it might be. O.K., it back to you for now. I look forward to hearing back.   Checking in on you. Hope you had a great 4th and that you were reminded constantly how thankful we are are for your service. Life around here has been chaotic. I have a charity show starting tonight that runs the next three nights, so have been practicing and working. (Yes, I am a Hee Haw Honey!) No laughing!

  Hey, lady - Thanks for checking on us - we have been hauling hay - 500 bales in from the field the other night - finally quit and headed for the house around 2am or so...Naw - we're not working too hard. LOL!!

  Hi Angela, Glad to have you as a friend. I believe an old family friend used to be sheriff in Dunlap.
  Donnie Custer. I haven't had contact with him in many years though...just heard that from other family members. I also used to have some church friends that moved to the Orlando area from Saudi Daisey. Hope you have a great weekend. Hope to message you again before long.
