When we lived in Texas to come home we drove it twice...It took 24 hours to get home...but to Charlotte I don't know which route you'd be taking..and as far as if he likes the Mountains, that's where I'm gonna retire...I love it there.

10-4, that's a haul from where I stay...I live about an hour from Raleigh, if that tells you anything...It would be about a 6 hour drive to Charlotte.

OUCH..I'm feeling your pain though...I got into a chase last night, and it was a jump & run, I called for the County K9 and had to run track....you the scene, jumping fences, ditches that had about 1ft. of standing water, running through corn fields, yeah, my calf muscles are a little sore..we found the B***ch and she toted an a$$ whopping...I lived in Killeen 1995 for about a year, and I don't think I ever went to Temple...mostly Fort Worth, and Dallas....My X was stationed at Fort Hood.

We work one per shift...There's the Sarge and me...we have 2 p/t offficer's that fill in, we're trying to hire a few more to pick up the slack and we have a full time position available, it's pretty much filled just waiting for May 1....and of course, the Chief's position is up for grabs now, but I've been told it will probably be July before we get one.

Me and Sarge have been working nights, but our Chief just resigned, so now we're trying to please the town....I worked S,S,M,T, 3p-3a, and tomorrow I work 12p-12a, off Friday, work Sat 3p-3a, off Sunday, then come back M-F 7a-5p who knows what the next 2 weeks will be..
