About Me
I have returned from a self imposed sabbatical. My plans have radically changed since I first joined PL over a year and a half ago. My wife ad I are divorcing after she had a mid life crisis apparently while I was deployed Dec to Apr. I am trying to pull my retirement papers back from the AF and see if I can stay in. If I can I will, if not I have other options including LE work here in the area. I took the SELECT exam here for 3 agencies in Apr when I returned and actually had a request for more information from one of them. I will revisit that option if I am forced to retire as was my original plan. And finally, I lost my security job because the contract changed hands and the new company has dragged their feet about rehiring me. I have been advised that they are not a good one to work for, so I have pursued getting on with another company. Still waiting, but getting along ok. *UPDATE 16 AUG 09*, I will be moving to Charlotte, NC on 1 Sep. My request to withdraw retirement from the AF was denied twice, so my military career is done 1 Oct. But, I have been hired as an AF Jr ROTC instructor at Vance HS in Charlotte. So life will be ok for me. Divorce still pending.......
