They put their lives on the line everyday
These men and women who we should thank
Instead we hurl accusations at them
We yell at them for mistakes we make
We kill them
They have one of the highest stress rates
Suicide rates
Divorce rates
And we have the nerve to beat them down
They save our lives everyday
But all we think about is how they are pulling us over
To give us a ticket, making us late
You are the real-life heroes of our time
Thank you for doing a thankless job
Thank you for making our streets safe
For us, for our kids.

Appreciate the friendship Michael. You ever get up to Vernon Parish to Hornbeck, look me up, just ask at the store and they can tell you where I live. Hammond motorcycle cop saved my butt when I escorted girls basket ball team to top 28 playoffs. Provided escort to hosp. emergency room . Had problems and started bleeding and could not stop it. They are my Heros. H=1
