Hi Carl ~ Sounds like a terrific trip. I'm sure your son and his buddies must have appreciated having dad come up and make him a Thanksgiving. Hey Sam--Hope the weekend was good and fun filled for you. I made a trip to Ft Lee VA to see my son, who is in the Army and is there for training. I think I told you he won't be able to come home for Thanksgiving, so his mother made dinner and froze it and sent me up there with it. He and his friends had a great time. I also took them to lunch one day and went to church on Sunday morning with my son. Hope you're ready for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Be safe and have a great week and a great holiday ahead. Carl

Hi Sam--Thanks for dropping by. Thanks too for the kind words. It's always a pleasure to hear from my PL friends. THanks again for the friendship. Looking forward to chatting again. BTW, the Air Fest was wonderful. The T-birds did perform, but I was too busy to watch. Besides, I've seen them many times. We prepared over 1800 meals for the 1st responders in the 2 days. A lot of work, but it reminded me of my days there at MacDill, when I was the one out on the line. I never knew who was taking care of me, but I knew someone cared. My next venture is to make a trip to Ft Lee VA to see my son, on the 18th. He can't make it home for Thanksgiving this year, he just arrived there for training, and Mama says I should make the trip to bond with him. It will be nice to get away for a couple of days any way. Have a wonderful week. The holidays will be here before we know it. Carl
