About Me
I served almost 27 years in the most densely populated city in the United States. I moved up the ranks and eventually made the rank of Inspector (3rd highest rank) in my Department. I served as a beat cop, patrol officer, Crime Prevention Bureau Detective, Patrol Sergeant, Commander of the Crime Prevention Bureau, Commander of Bureau of Criminal Identification, Commander of Patrol Division, Commander of Detective Bureau and Commander of the Office of Professional Standards. My retirement was read on the floor of the United States Congress in September of 2003. I am very proud of my accomplishments while on the job. I also volunteered for the draft in 1966 and eventually was shipped to Vietnam from May 1967 until May of 1968. I am proud to say, "I am a Vietnam Veteran!" Unfortunately, I am one of those cops who has been banned for life from PoliceLink and am trying to be reinstated. Any support or friends requests are appreciated as it may help my case of reinstatement.
