Happy Sunday! Hope you and yours have a very relaxing weekend and a great week ahead. It's been raining and cold here all week and they said it wasn't suppose to rain today, someone needs to look out their window. I don't remember what warm weather feels like and what is sun? What advise can anyone give a 53 year old with 31 years as an LOE, cur short be a second shot in the head. Now on disability, ($1,000.00) - hey I was LA State Police - NOT TROPPER , but Special agent - full time LEO. What can I do? My disability prohibits me from returning to active police work, but security? From home (computer, as I am fearful to leave my house); Online teaching? Taught police ethics in the academy - but in New Orleans, guess how many passed my tests-. Bored, want police companionship but DO NOT TRUST THE LOCAL COPS - Spring Lake / Ferrysburg. They have a preconceived notion I am crazy. I suffer from PTSD, major depression (losing tyhe only career II know; major anxeity) 31 years LEO, shot twice in the head, stabbed numerous times. FOP kicked me out (or at least it's on the table - for 6 months now) - member of USCG-A, but somebody just reportewd my condition to the 9th District - had a few calls from the PhD there - said to look for a member who is USCG - Aux & FOP as I don't know who I can trust. Feeling alone and abandonded. Any ideas?
