    Tom, Thought I’ll come on and write you back before I head off to work tonight. You are very welcome, I sure you that I’ll will be waiting for your entire questions as Sept nearer. Lol. I’ll be more than happy to help you out. The maps sound really excellent and as the GPS don’t really think they will be much help out here, we had a small grope of people that got lost on the mountain awhile back, they were using a GPS locator and it lead them off the trail. The rest of their party was still at the base of the mountain went back to the main road when they dent make it back and called for help the group was found by the fire department search and rescue and the border patrol helicopter. So its better that you stay with your maps we don’t want to get you lost now. Your good friend, Florine

    Tom, Your very welcome always glad to help with the info. Yes they do sell bottled water, and on your way to the mountain on the same dirt road you will pass our museum, hope you are not in too much of a rush to stop by and have a look. Florine

    Tom, Sorry to say Topawa is not a town it is only one of many small village’s here on the res, and again sorry to say it does not have a gas station or a store. But before you head to village you have to go through sells that is the only place we have a gas station and store where you can get your non-perishable food and fresh vegetables and fruit.
