About Me
Happily divorced for quite a while (caught him cheating) after 16 years. At the time I was a Sheriff's dispatcher, so he ALWAYS knew where I was! DAMN that scanner! I've given up on the myth that men can be faithful to one woman. ALL the good ones are taken (you lucky girls) That's pretty much my only "rule" and deal breaker is cheating. I guess it's too much to ask. I have two law degrees and in the past have been a sheriffs dispatcher, reserve police officer, police specialist working child sex crimes, and sexual assault victim advocate and child interviewer. For the past four years I've worked as a senior under cover loss prevention officer for a major store chain. My "career" ended last year when a 6'7", 280 pound shoplifter I was apprehending body slammed me against a brick building, completely knocking me out cold, (where was my "partner you ask????") and then proceeded to beat the holy crap out of me right there in downtown, on a Friday, in broad daylight and NO ONE did anything to help. I ended up with a broken arm, ribs, left knee, major concussion, broken teeth, 5 ruptured discs in neck and lower back, plus he also bit me (FYI....he no longer has teeth to bite anyone ever again) and as an added bonus, he was Hep C and HIV positive, (we found out later). So after being on the lovely HIV "cocktail" for a month, I am now medically retired and considered permenantly disabled. Turns out this HUGE guy was only 16 years old and got less then 4 months. With credit for "timed served", he walked out of the court room right behind me! (Laughing) My "partner" had snuck out of the store without telling me to go stalk his soon to be ex wife, who was leaving him, so I was calling for back up and had none. This puke had two of his "Homies" right around the corner and they followed right into the alley behind me and stood as look outs while the perp did his "job" on me. His buddies stole my firearm and Tazer. I still don't know "why" they didn't shoot me. I have nightmares that someday MY weapon will be used against an LEO. That's my greatest fear. It haunts me every day and every night. It bothers me that I can no longer do all the things I love to do. Several surgeries and a lifetime of pain meds is my only future at this point. I REALLY miss law enforcement. My oldest brother and HERO is retired LAPD. GOD BLESS EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU GUYS AND GALS AND THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR DEDICATION AND SERVICE!! Most of the songs below were chosen and are dedicated to my firstborn son, whom I lost to SIDS almost 30 years ago. Rest in Peace my sweet angel. Mommy misses you so.
