I was wondering if you or any L.E.O.'s you know might be willing to donate any extra duty rig gear (leather or nylon) to The San Bernardino Valley College Extended Basic Police Academy Class 032.
I'm a current trainee and I'm lucky enough to be able to afford my rig, but a couple of my fellow trainee's are not. We are not paid during this academy unless we have civilan jobs outside academy time. We are paying our way to get our POST Certificate. I've donated what extra I have and I'm trying to get enough to put together a couple rigs.
Anything would help out greatly. I'm Also going to ask our Director and Coordinator if there is anyway we can make the donations from L.E.O.'s a tax deduction.
if you can't help out I understand, but if you would be so kind as to pass the word along, I'd be very greatfull.
