P.S. If any of you want to read a dynamite post, go to Fallen Heroes and read what a Philly copper who goes by the handle here of Harp3726 recently posted. If it doesn't move you to tears, and I mean LOTS of them, you have no heart!
Also, please remember that I'll pretty much be off the P-L radar screen, beginning tomorrow through the end of December, due to a very impacted hearing schedule with the Board.
While I'm gone, all of you please be well, stay safe and have a wonderful holiday season!

A post here to all my P-L friends!
Boys and girls, I am truly, truly blessed. I have far more friends here at P-L alone than a human being really deserves...especially for this broken down, grumpy, cynical retired prosecutor.
I'm posting this to try and respond to each and every post you have each been kind enough to leave me here at my Comment Wall since the last time I posted here too.
At the moment, my schedule seems to be getting worse and worse. I'm scheduled to be in either parole revocation or lifer hearings in various locations throughout CA through the end of December.
The good news is that I should be running out of my 960 annual retired annuitant hours with the Board of Parole Hearings by the middle of January and will finally have time to get back to work on my many private life projects I've been neglecting horribly since I began with the Board last December.
Soon, I'll be back to work on both my Courtroom Survival series of books, as well as my other series, which includes all the planned novels in my Joshua Travers adventure series.
This series begins with Deadly Duty, nearing completion and impatiently awaiting the return of my attention to it and my other planned books, in order for each of them to find their way to the marketplace.
In addition to my writing, I've been asked to teach again at the local SO Academy. And, I also need to move further forward on a project I've been working on, off and on, for the past 15+ years as a private citizen. This project deals with exploring gangs and dope, and, more importantly, how we eradicate these evil twins that continue to unnecessarily threaten public safety.
Okay, I'm beginning to ramble again...I can feel it. So, let me close by again expressing my love for each and every one of you. Have a Happy Thanksgiving and a peaceful and loving holiday season, be well, stay safe and please stay in touch!
