So I guess you are still working as a paramedic? It has changed in the last couple of years here for the better. I do enjoy it. Well most of the time anyway!

Last night I lay in bed
My gut sick and sour
pounding in my head
tragedy struck this hour
Knowing something was not right
the void of not knowing
