About Me: I am an Army brat and veteran who served as an MP for 5 years. I served as a Corrections Officer for the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office, Oregon, for 20 months while awaiting my opportunity to return to law enforcement. I have been a sworn "civilian" officer with three departments over the past 22+ years. I am currently a Sergeant, supervising a detective squad. In another phase of my career I served as a Certified DRE and DRE Instructor in Washington State. I am also a departmental and regional honor guard commander, as well as a forensic artist. My spare time is taken up with my family and finishing up my Bachelor's of Theology degree in Christian Counseling. I gave up patch collecting a few years ago because I was running out of room, and found that good quality digital photographs work better, take up less room, and make interesting screen savers. I love music (especially country), play piano and guitar and listen to music every chance I get. I am also an avid amateur photographer. I'm happily married (30 years) and look forward to retirement in a few years, when I can spend more time with my wife, working the cruise consulting business that we run from our home and can move with us, since we are discussing moving to the Lone Star state when we retire. I am also a member of F.O.P. Washington, Green River Lodge #27.
