I had to go to the Dollar Store today I was going to run out of gift tags, and then the grocery store for a few things. I have been wrapping on and off all night. The cat is fighting with wrapping paper that's on the floor LOL. Spaghetti sauce is in the slow cooker. It never ends lol

    Christmas gift suggestions:
    To your enemy, forgiveness.
    To an opponent, tolerance.
    To a friend, your heart.
    To a customer, service.
    To all, charity.
To every child, a good example.
    To yourself, respect.

Hey Kristine! =D Sorry it's taken me awhile to get back to you...thank you for all the comments!
I caught the cold bug that everyone and their mother has earlier this month, now it's staying busy for this weekend...other than that, not much new going on. Any plans for the holiday?? If I don't hear from you before then, you and your family have a Merry Christmas! =D

Hey Kristina- Sorry to hear about your stomach flu, the regular flu is bad but not the stomach flu. It's funny I always get really hungry when I get the stomach flu. Bought the food today, and will start my tomato sauce (or as we say in Philly gravy) and keep it in the slow cooker until I need it on Friday. I still have two cakes to bake but they are Duncan Hines, in fact I found a French Vanilla flavor today never have seen that. I've been wrappping my little fingers off but it seems as though the gifts are multiplying LOL. Take it easy. Big Hugssss

Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus. He exists as certainly as love and generosity and devotion exist, and you know that they abound and give to your life its highest beauty and joy. Alas! How dreary would be the world if there were no Santa Claus! It would be as dreary as if there were no Virginias. There would be no child-like faith then, no poetry, no romance to make tolerable this existence. We should have no enjoyment, except in sense and sight. The eternal light with which childhood fills the world would be extinguished.
Not believe in Santa Claus! You might as well not believe in fairies!

Hi Kristine- about 1/3 of the gifts are wrapped but I think they all have arrived, just trying to figure out what belongs to who or is it whom (Oh Well). My son, his girlfriend, my grandson, and my aunt will be over Christmas Eve for dinner and gift opening. And no one is coming Christmas Day, this is the first time in 30 years I have not baked a ham for Christmas and had a group over. It's gonna be weird, my husband was checking restaurants and so far it's McDonalds and TGI Fridays (which sucks) I am sure there will be plenty leftover lasagna for Saturday too. There are a bunch of Christmas movies on the Sleuth channel Christmas Day, or football LOL. Have a great Tuesday (I thought it was Wednesday).

Hi Kristine, My shopping is all done, now starts the wrapping (not my favorite). I was planning Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinners but I have no idea who or how many are coming. Oh well, cook for an army and eat leftovers until February. I usually buy my own Christmas gifts, since he pays no attention to what I have said. Then he runs out to Kohl's on Christmas Eve and he buys me the ugliest clothes on earth. Oh well, I guess I should be appreciative I did get my new refrigerator and washer and dryer a few months ago.

Thank you, Kristine, and the same to you and your family. I wish you a wonderful holiday season surrounded by your loving family and the closest of friends. I'm also glad to know you are feeling better. I love your Christmas painting.... but, as you know, I love primitives.

Take care, and we'll chat again via pm, before the holidays. (((HUGS)))

And.... furthermore, dream of being here....

Hi Kristine, the quiet of Sunday is gone I am finally opening up all of the packages that have been delivered and trying to figure out what I bought who. Then my mailman knocks bringing more packages. LOL. Hopefully, it's warmer there in Florida than it is here 20 miles south of the Mason-Dixon line. My brother called from LA today and said it was 84 degrees yesterday. Oh Well Have a great rest of the day.

Temperature 24 degrees, Windchill 17 degrees,
Wind Advisory in effect 20 to 30mph winds with gust reaching 40 to 50mph.

Hi Kristine, quiet Sunday it's about time LOL. I still have boxes upon boxes that I haven't opened yet the only thing I have ready to go is a package I need to take to the Post Office tomorrow a Christmas gift for my new nephew and a Baby's First Christman Ornament for my brother and sis in law because they don't think of these things. The tree is up but not decorated yet and I have all of those boxes sitting in my living room. I am so far behind with these chores it's not funny, I'm sure it all will get done in time LOL. Have a great week!!!!

Don’t think that love, to be true, has to be extraordinary. What is necessary is to continue to love. How does a lamp burn, if it is not by the continuous feeding of little drops of oil? When there is no oil, there is no light and the bridegroom will say: “I do not know you”. Dear friends, what are our drops of oil in our lamps? They are the small things from every day life: the joy, the generosity, the little good things, the humility and the patience. A simple thought for someone else. Our way to be silent, to listen, to forgive, to speak and to act. That are the real drops of oil that make our lamps burn vividly our whole life. Don’t look for Jesus far away, He is not there. He is in you, take care of your lamp and you will see Him.”
    – Mother Teresa
