    Summary: Where do I start. Kristine is a true American hero. Selflessly giving of herself to help another while suffering a physical condition of her own. I admire and respect her. She exemplifies the human spirit.

    Hi Kristine- if I would have know you got everything you went for I should have given you my list LMAO. Although, I had only one item on it :). I started my online shopping the other day and had shopping bags saved all over the internet. I realized that even stuff on clearance is expensive, Oh well it's Christmas. I made a 22 pound bird once carved I didn't think we were going to have enough to go around, but......we are still eating it LOL. Have a great week, my friend.

    Hi Kristine, I started cooking Wednesday afternoon. We realized at 0200 that we couldn't find the blades for the electric knife. Hi Ho Off to Wal Mart we go for a new one. LOL A 22 pound turkey, stuffing both in and out of the bird, candied sweet potatoes with marshmellows, green beans, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, pumpkin and dutch apple pie. I did burn my wrist getting stuff out of the oven, and thankfully I didn't poison anyone lol. Thank God it's over LOL. Have a great rest of the T-day holiday.

    'TWAS THE NIGHT OF THANKSGIVING

    Twas the night of Thanksgiving, but I just couldn't sleep.
    I tried counting backwards, I tried counting sheep.
    The leftovers beckoned--the dark meat and white,
    but I fought the temptation with all of my might.

    Tossing and turning with anticipation,
    the thought of a snack became infatuation.
    So, I raced to the kitchen, flung open the door
    and gazed at the fridge, full of goodies galore.

    I gobbled up turkey and buttered potatoes,
    pickles and carrots, beans and tomatoes.
    I felt myself swelling so plump and so round,
    till all of a sudden, I rose off the ground.

    I crashed through the ceiling, floating into the sky
    With a mouthful of pudding and a handful of pie.
    But, I managed to yell as I soared past the trees.......
    happy eating to all---pass the cranberries, please!

    HOW TO OBSERVE THANKSGIVING

    Count your blessings instead of your crosses;
    Count your gains instead of your losses.
    Count your joys instead of your woes;
    Count your friends instead of your foes.
    Count your smiles instead of your tears;
    Count your courage instead of your fears.
    Count your full years instead of your lean;
    Count your kind deeds instead of your mean.
    Count your health instead of your wealth;
    Count on God instead of yourself.

    Hello Kristine! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours as well! Yes, I must say you are "nuts" LOL.. I stay away from stores on Black Friday.. haha.. I am not big on standing in lines and trying to find a parking place at a store. I will be with my family tomorrow, my mother cooks and my sister and I will help out. She is the greatest cook! Well, if you lived closer, I would invite you and Tony over! :-) Talk to you soon!

    Hi Kristine... Sorry I'm so far behind in all my pm's and posts, but I've been up to my eyeballs with my Geek to get my new computer fully functional, and it's tricky.. working with (gag) Windows 7 Professional BUT with Windows XP Professional functioning as a virtual machine on the Windows 7 Platform.... some things run and work in W-7 and others in XP.

    No strength to do anything tomorrow... don't want to see friends or family. I'm just plain tired.

    Hope you arnd your family have a wolnderful Thanksgiving surrounded by loved ones and friends. Have a Beautiful and Blessed Day, and thanks for the continued friendship. (((HUGS)) - me
