- PATCH COLLECTOR!! WANNA TRADE??? 35 yoa and happily married to my beautiful blonde haired, blue eyed bride!! I am currently pursuing my degree so that I can become eligible for promotion. I was a Traffic Homicide Investigator for the past 2 years and a Street Training Officer (FTO) for 3 years. My current assignment is with the Major Crimes Sections as a Homicide Detective. I have a total of 9 years in Law Enforcement and 5 years in E.M.S. Originally from Youngstown, Ohio, However; I now reside in Polk County, Florida. I graduated from High School in 1992. After High School I worked in both Youngstown and Cleveland, Ohio in E.M.S., and a small town called Brookfield as a LEO. I moved to Florida in 1996 and never looked back! I am addicted to school, and I have earned over 50 certificates. My favorite past time is maintaining a Coral Reef tank, which is very costly and time consuming. I would love to make some friends here and I look forward to meeting people from all over the country. God Bless and Be Safe out there! I once appeared in a television movie titled "Confirmation", hosted By robert stack. Most recently I was the content advisor for the "In the line of duty" training series, Crime and Death Scene Responses. Must SEE!! (my 15 minutes of fame) I am modest. I dont feel like I do anything special. My job is to bring justice to the families of those who are murdered and to give the victims a voice. I tell the familes that I am working for their loved ones, and I take my job seriously! I WILL find the Truth and those responsible WILL pay for their crimes. HOW TO STAY YOUNG
1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age, weight and height. Let the doctors worry about them. That is why you pay 'them'
2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down.
3. Keep learning. Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the brain idle. 'An idle mind is the devil's workshop.'
4. Enjoy the simple things.
5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.
6. The tears happen. Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person, who is with us our entire life, is ourselves. Be ALIVE while you are alive.
7. Surround yourself with what you love, whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, and hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge.
8. Cherish your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.
9. Don't take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county; to a foreign country but NOT to where the guilt is.
10. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.
11. Don't waste time finding fault with others - they can usually
Find fault with themselves just fine. Try something challenging-
LOOK FOR THE GOOD IN EVERYONE!
AND ALWAYS REMEMBER:
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
