Thank you for the comment. Nope not yet. Our weather is pretty great out here you just never know what your going to get because each year is different. A ouple years ago we got snow for one day in April. So far in the days it has been really nice mid 70's and evenings go from the mid 60's and a little lower. And thank you very much. I am talking with different people in the L.E. to find out how the like their job? What are the pros and cons of your work? What degree is needed and what are the first steps to get there or how you got there? Thanks a head of time for your time. Have a wonderful day!!!!

I'm not sure what I want to do with my degree. I have interest in so many areas, but my age will likely limit me. I had my kids before going back to school. Any suggestions? My advisor tells me that many opportunities come about after becoming a police officer first.

that is the sweetest thing that ANYONE has ever said to me on here. it's people like you and people that are in the department where i live that motivate me to WANT to do my best.. unlike the kids that surround me everyday. hearing them say that they 'hate school' (even though i do too sometimes), and seeing them laugh at tests or quizzes that they could've easily passed, makes me wonder what i'm going to be working with one day.. and it makes me sad. and very unmotivated. but, then i get on here, and it's like people give me more momentum to want to do what i want to do..
thank you SOOOOO much for touching my heart tonite..
and if you don't mind me asking, what is it that you do in law enforcement that involves writing? i'm just curious.. i'm trying to explore all of my possiblilities right now..
