Capt. William Harry Thompson and Senior Court Officers Thomas Jurgens and Mitchel Wallace - I left them flowers again this year, and 3 street corners in lower Manhattan were named for them.
The intersection of White and Lafayette Streets was renamed Court Officer Mitchel Wallace Corner; the corner of Leonard and Lafayette Streets was renamed for Court Officer
Thomas Jurgens; and the corner of Franklin and Lafayette Streets was renamed for Capt. William Thompson. Part of Lafayette Street near the Family Court was also named Court Officer Memorial Way.
Doc.... you should have known I'd track you down. How many years is it now? I know it was before 9/11 because I put flowers on The Wall for your Court buddies in . And we met because an email from me to a friend, somehow got into your email and you blasted me up one side, down the other - and I shot it right back atcha. Remember? Janice is gonna be a nonna again - this time, it's a girl. They go to the Orlando Memorial and FL transferred George's killer to the County facility where his wife/children live. Staten Island nonna wasn't going to go along with that. Hopefully, she'll be here when The Law Museum opens and she sees the Theatre Seat I donated in George's memory.
Stay safe and watch your 6.... or you'll never get to CO. ~S
