About Me: My name is David. I have been a Police Officer since 1999. I was involved in a very serious motorcycle accident that left my right arm paralyzed (Brachial Plexus). After multiple reconstructive surgeries I regained a large portion of feeling and movement. After a long battle I was not reinstated by my agency due to not being able to shoot weak handed. After a year of applying I was hired at the Oxford Township Police Department in Oxford, Ohio. I am one of three in the United States that is a commissioned Police Officer working the road with a significant upper extremity disability.
