- My husband and I have been married for 19 yrs. He was a Lt. with the City and retired but couldn't give it up and went back with the County. I have an amazing son, who I love with all my heart and I am so proud of the young man he is today. I was a nurse for many years working in the ER and doctors office, finally burning out, giving it up and becoming a much nicer person lol. I worked for 8 yrs as a dispatcher for the Sheriff/Police Department until my father became ill and I quit working to stay at the hospital with him. I'm now working 2 mornings a week for a veterinarian. I love being married to a police officer. It is not an easy job but it is the most rewarding job I have ever had in my entire life, other than being a mom. I promised many of my PoliceLink friends that I would keep you updated on my new mystery/suspense trilogy. I'm pleased to announce my first novel, Child Finder, has debuted this month. It is available online at Barnes & Noble, and
Amazon. It has already received some great reviews, to include a 5-Star rating by Armchair Interviews!
I am hosting a formal launch and book signing event at Borders bookstore, Chapel Hills Mall, Colorado Springs, CO on Sunday, June 7th, from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm. It would be great to see you there, but if you cannot make it, then I hope you still get your hands on a copy of my book.
