About Me
Have worked (full time, part time, or reserve) for about 8 LEO agencies and have been in LE since 1987, with a 5 yr hiatus due to burnout. I did not set out to be a LEO, I wanted to be a scientist, originally an Astronomer, but couldn't do the math (advanced mathematics). Became a Botanist/Ecologist instead, but that did not pan out so ended up in law enforcement and love it. Getting a Ph. D. taught me how to tackle large projects and how to work unsupervised, it has little to do with intelligence and everthing to do with a monomanical determination to get the degree.
