About Me
Based in Cardiff -South Wales Police - UK. . . . I have been an Officer Safety Trainer since 2002 and also teach Public Order Training and Advanced Method of Entry. Outside of work i also train the Security industry and cilivilans in many aspects of self defence and conflict management. My Current Team of a Sgt and 8 PC's work together as a permenant unit in one carrier and cover the entire Force area and provide mutual aid to surrounding forces who do not have the capaility. This unit also has Surveillance Qualified Officers to assist in the enforcement of Drugs Squad duties and anti Gang tactics. The unit are trained to facilitate Rapid Intervention to premises using a range of tactics and tools. We are not armed as it is percieved to be too dangerous to carry side arms into close quarter situations. All Team members are trained in Taser.
