About Me
I have been a Constable in Arkansas since 1993. I also was a police officer at the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport for about a year. I just did not like working at the Airport and puting up with the BS from the Airport Managers. I have been President of the Arkansas Constable Association for several years and will term limit out this year. During my tenure the association was completely revamped and is now a political force in the Arkansas Legislature. In 2006 the National Constables Association rewrote the By-Laws. That change turned the association from a social organization to a working organization with the member in control instead of people who held office for life. At the NCA convention in 2006 I was choosen Chairman of the Board, National Constables Association and have held the office ever since. Several years ago a group of law enforement and security professionals started the Grand and Noble Order of Police and Security (GNOPS). It is my honor to be a charter member of this exclusive organization. In 2004 I was awarded Arkansas Constable of the Year and National Constable Association Extraordinary Service Award, In 2006 I was awarded National Constable of the Year Award, In 2007 I was awarded National Constables Presidents Award and nominated as Arkansas Law Enforcement Officer of the Year. I was, also, one of those nominated for the Arkansas Law Enforcement office of the Year. In 2009, at the National Constables Association Convention in Tucson, I received the National Leadership Award, and remain the Chairman of the Board of the National Constables Association.
