About Me
In January of 2006, I joined a Police Explorer post. I volunteer many hours each week including meetings and ride-outs with Officers. Some weeks I volunteer 20-35 hours in community events such as festivals, parades, football games, and safety expos. I am one of five Explorers selected as a member of the SWAT Team. I received many honors at the yearly award ceremony held each October including, Explorer of the year (2007) Crime Prevention Explorer Of The Year (2006 & 2007), Community Service Award, Crime Prevention Award, Firearms Training Award, Law Enforcement Service Award, Law Enforcement Training Award, and the Explorer Academy Attendance Award, Perfect attendence, and Tenture. In June 2007, I was notified that a Texas Crime Prevention Officer had nominated me for a scholarship.
