Mississippi Police Academies
There are six regional police academies in Mississippi. In order to receive police officer certification in the state, recruits must graduate from one of these Mississippi Board on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Training approved academies. The academies also provide in-service training for all active officers in the state.
